      Friends often ask for opinions on internet purchases. It seems to amaze them when I supply a discount code or a site offering free shipping, as if there is some magic to it.  I must admit - I'm not a magician.  It's all in knowing how to surf to the right locations.  Through this website I will show you a few sites to begin your journey toward becoming an informed and frugal online shopper.  Clicking on the web addresses or advertisements you see will take you directly to the site shown.

     As with any transaction requiring personal and/or payment information, online shopping certainly has its risks.  Therefore, I try to choose stores wisely and look for privacy and security information.  With that said, online shopping has many advantages, including -

saving gas by not traveling to the stores, 

limited temptation to buy unnecessary items,

price comparisons,

no parking lot safety issues,

and no crowds, especially during the holidays.
